Jiajia Xue received her Ph.D. degree from Beijing University of Chemical Technology (under the supervision of Prof. Liqun ZHANG) in 2015 and conducted her postdoctoral research in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2019 (co-advisor: Prof. Younan XIA). She is now a professor at Beijing University of Chemical Technology. Her main research interests include the design of electrospun fiber scaffolds, hydrogels, and elastomer materials for tissue repair and replacement. She has published over 70 peer-reviewed papers, with a citation over 6,000 times. She is the Emerging Investigator in Journal of Materials Chemistry B of Royal Society of Chemistry in 2022. She has also received the 2023 Chinese Association of Biomaterials (CAB) Young Investigator Award.
