Yan Jiao, The University of Adelaide, Adelaide, Australia
Dr. Jiao received her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Queensland in 2012. Afterwards, she joined the University of Adelaide as a postdoc researcher in the School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials. She is now a Associate Professor and Director of Research of the School. Dr. Yan Jiao’s research interest is using computational methods to (1) study electrocatalytic reaction mechanisms on various materials’ surfaces, (2) design highly active and highly selective catalysts for different electrochemical clean energy conversion reactions. So far, she has published more than 80 journal papers, including Nature Energy. These publications have collectively attracted more than 19,000 citations (h-index of 50). She was recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher (Chemistry) by Clarivate Analytics in 2019 and 2020.
